PLS is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Community Grants Program (the Program), supporting grassroots community programs and projects that are making a meaningful impact across the Pilbara region.
This year, 14 community projects have shared in more than $120,000 of funding to help improve access to education programs, strengthen community resilience and support the region’s transition to renewable energy.
From environmental advocates and creative collectives to social services, each recipient reflects the vibrant and diverse spirit of the Pilbara.
2025 grant recipients:
PLS Chief People and Sustainability Officer Sandra McInnes said the Program, now in its third year, was focussed on leaving a positive legacy and helping shape a better tomorrow.
“These grants were developed to support the people and organisations who are creating real change in our communities. We’re proud to support their efforts and help them grow their impact,” Ms McInnes said.
The Program is part of PLS’ broader commitment to social responsibility and regional development. Funding will support a range of programs and projects including youth engagement, mental health support, environmental sustainability and cultural enrichment.
The PLS Community Grants Program is an annual initiative open to community organisations to apply for a funding of up to $10,000.
The Program forms part of PLS’ broader Community Investment Framework, which ensures support for programs that align with community needs and delivers positive, lasting and sustainable impact across its priority communities.
